M. is a 7 year old girl who is growing up with her heart close to the ocean and environmental conservation. She decided around 5 years old to become a marine biologist and wanted to learn more about how to protect the ocean through science. She then came up with the idea of the ocean club along with the fabulous logo.
Katyana is an Assistant Research Professor at the Polytechnic science and mathematics lab in Arizona State University in fishery sciences.
She grew up on the island of Martinique in the Caribbean and is an outdoor enthusiast with a deep love for everything water. She obtained her master at the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington and her P.h.D at the National Museum of Natural History and the Sorbonne in Paris. Her scientific interests ranges from ecosystems's stressors, to marine fishery systems, stock assessments and mathematics.

Johnny V is a professional video producer and photographer whose work is cultured by travel, the outdoors, action sports, technology, and a passion for discovery. Born on the island of Alameda, California in the Bay Area, and studied on the sea-cliffs at UC San Diego, Johnny’s ongoing appreciation for the ocean and nature has served as his muse, fueling his desire to capture and experience its beauty through still and moving image. This conduit for self-expression has become a craft worth perfecting. Never satisfied, but fulfilled by the quest, Johnny has established himself as an artist and a professional with vision and dedication.

Cassie is a web and graphic designer with a passion for family, surfing, nature and travel. Born and raised in San Diego, California she naturally developed an affinity for the outdoors and particularly the ocean. After completing her BA in ICAM (interdisciplinary computing, art and music) at UCSD she became a freelance graphic and web designer. Later, with the birth of her child, she realized her passion was truly in conservation and chose to pivot in her career. Currently, she is working on her Masters in Biology with an emphasis in conservation while volunteering her web design skills to non profits.

Originally from Brazil, Erika moved to the U.S. for her bachelor's degree at Purdue University. She stayed to work in corporate America, while pursuing her masters in Finance.
She loves traveling, the arts, music and a good adventure. Her retirement dreams are anything by the ocean and scuba diving. Meanwhile, she spends her free time with her husband and two boys exploring the beach, mountains and deserts of California.
