Tide Pools

Tidepooling like marine biologists at the La Jolla tide pools. Explore zonations on the beach and how organisms adapts to each zone.

Scripps Deep Sea Drilling Lab

The core locker at SIO holds a collection of about 7,500 deep ocean cores, more than 3,500 deep sea dredges, and approximately 40,000 slides of marine microfossils and about 10,000 samples of rocks and fossils.
